The National Monuments Service's description
Spread of burnt material visible in section on N edge of small stream in pasture. Trackway parallel to stream covers spread. One of a group of four fulachta fiadh (CO111-06201-; CO111-060--; CO111-082--) along stream which flows into Bandon river.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 1: West Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1992). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
