The National Monuments Service's description
Test excavations in 2003 in advance of the construction of a house revealed a shallow deposit (L 10.2m; min. Wth c. 4m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil in the area of the proposed driveway to the house. The monument is preserved in situ.
