The National Monuments Service's description

On N side of Dunderrow crossroads; circular graveyard (diam. c. 65m); S half of boundary truncated by roadway, from which it is separated by stone wall; otherwise bounded by stone-faced earthen bank (for plan see Henchion 1971, 111). In occasional use; Henchion (ibid.) records 55 inscriptions; earliest headstones dates from 1730; Roche chest tomb has date 1665 on side panel (ibid.). No longer any visible trace of C of I church erected here in 1812 (Brady 1863, vol. 1, 90) and described by Lewis (1837, vol. 1, 572) as 'a small handsome edifice, with a lofty square tower' (part of S wall visible in photo facing p 110, Henchion 1971); on site of ancient parish church of Dunderrow. Church here was in repair in 1639 (Brady ibid.) but by 1810 church in graveyard described as 'unsafe and not capable of receiving such repairs as may be safe and permanent' (Day 1913, 170).
