In pasture on shoulder of hill with commanding view to N over Bandon river and to E and S. Trapezoidal area (64m E-W; 60m max. N-S; c. 45m min. N-S) enclosed by substantial earthen bank (H 2.1m) with external fosse (D 2.2m). Break (Wth 1m) in bank with causeway across fosse at E. Possible outer bank (max. H 1m) to S, NW and N. Interior slopes up to centre. Ó Riordain (1932, 6) records tradition of two entrances to souterrains here (CO109-080----).
