The National Monuments Service's description

In rough mountain grazing, on a terrace on the E-facing slopes of Nowen Hill with extensive views over the rolling countryside to the E. A circular area (8.8m E-W; 8.5m N-S) is defined by a low earthen bank (Wth 1.2m; H 0.3m) E-S and elsewhere by stones protruding intermittently (H up to 0.3m) from traces of the remains of an earthen bank. Two separate stones (H 1.1m; 1.7m x 0.55m and H 0.85m; 1.2m x 0.5m) are set on the perimeter at NE and SW, respectively, and their long axes are parallel.
