The National Monuments Service's description
In rough grazing, on a NE-facing hillslope. The remains of a circular hut site (diam. 3m) defined by a partially collapsed, roughly constructed, drystone wall (T 0.65m; H 0.6m), the lower courses of which protrude above the surface of bog. The level interior is cut (D 0.4m) into upslope at the SE to compensate for the hillslope. Another hut site (CO106-108002-) is c. 45m to the NE.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
