The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, on the floor of the valley of the Mealagh River with views SE to Mullaghmesha. Myler (1998, 99, no. 71) notes that a 'hole in the ground near the northern ditch' appears to open into an earth-cut souterrain. The area is now covered by overgrowth and the entrance to this possible souterrain could not be found.
