The National Monuments Service's description

On level platform beside isolated rock outcrop, 1km E of mouth Owvane river. Gallery (L 2.1m; Wth 1m) aligned NE-SW; greater part formed by two long slabs; set inside the line of each to W is a shorter stone. Displaced, sill-like stone between two W stones; inset backstone at E end chamber. Two stones to W of chamber may be remains facade. Traces of mound to E delimited by three small stones. (O Nualláin 1989, 135)
