The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, on bog, on a S-facing slope with a view over Trafrask Harbour and Bantry Bay. The remains of a relict stone field boundary (T 0.5m; H 0.45m) defined by stones which protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog and extend (L c. 35m) in a general N-S direction and then turn in an E direction for c. 40m. A dense cover of moor grass, gorse and heather obscures most of the stones. A plantation of coniferous trees is growing to the S, W and N of this relict field boundary. A fire break is to the E.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
