The National Monuments Service's description

In a rough peaty pasture field, on a SW-facing hillslope. Traces of relict stone field boundaries (T 0.6m; H 0.1-0.45m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog in a roughly rectangular area (c. 120m NE-SW x c. 110m NW-SE). In general the mainly curvilinear walls are collapsed and many stretches, which vary in length, run on into deeper bog. Many stones are set at right angles to the line of the wall. In the course of land reclamation work stones were piled on top of some of the walls. A possible hut site (CO102-048001-) is near the SW end of the area occupied by the field boundaries.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
