The National Monuments Service's description
In rough hill pasture, on a NE-facing slope. The remains of relict stone field boundaries (T 0.6m; H 0.1-0.4m) protrude above the surface of the bog in a roughly rectangular area (c. 180m NE-SW x c. 160m NW-SE). The relict walls, through which several gaps occur, are mainly curvilinear. Many stones are set at right angles to the line of the wall. An enclosure (CO102-030010-) is c. 70m to the NW.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
