The National Monuments Service's description
In rough pasture, on a N-facing slope. A horseshoe-shaped grass-covered mound (14m E-W; 8m N-S; H 0.7m). The opening (Wth 4.5m) faces S. Heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil are exposed in both banks of a stream which bisects the mound N-S. A burnt mound (CO102-031010-) lies 11m to the NW.
