The National Monuments Service's description

A series of features spread over the lower rocky N-facing slopes of Lackawee, at N end of Slieve Miskish mountain.
(a) Large irregular enclosure (c. 250m N-S; c. 200m E-W) depicted on 2nd ed. OS 6-inch map; defined by stone bank (H 0.5m; Wth 1m).
(b) Adjoining inner bank face and scattered across interior are a number of small circular enclosures (diam. 2m - 7.8m) and one rectangular enclosure (5m E-W; 3.3m N-S); defined by stone bank (H c. 0.3m).
(c) Standing stone in SE quadrant of large enclosure (a) measures 0.8m L, 0.4m T and 1.08m H; long axis ENE-WSW. Prostrate stone (L 1.6m; 0.5m x 0.2m) lies 1.2m to ENE.
(d) Oval enclosure (12m ESE-WNW; 8m NNE-SSE) 120m S of (a) defined by two lines of upright contiguous stones forming inner and outer facing (H 1m; Wth 1.8m) SE->E, grass covered core contains some stones; scarp elsewhere (H 0.4m).
(e) Immediately SW of large enclosure (a) is circular enclosure (14.9m E-W; 14.4m N-S) defined by double line of upright contiguous stones (max. H 1.2m) E-SW and W->N, core (int. H 0.7m) now grass-covered contains some stones. Entrance (Wth 1.2m) to SSE defined by two upright slabs. Depicted on 2nd ed. OS 6-inch map.
(f) Further north on same hill are a number of small roughly circular enclosures (diam. 4m - 9.5m) mainly defined by stoney banks.
(g) Only earthen feature consists of circular depression (diam. 1.7m) filled with peaty deposit at least 1m deep; enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.7m; ext H 0.45m).
