The National Monuments Service's description

In rough hill pasture, with some cutaway bog, on a rise to the E of outcropping rock, on the lower slopes of Tooreennamna Mountain. A roughly circular cairn (6.3m N-S; 5.9m E-W; H 0.7m) that consists of mainly large stones. There are traces of kerbing, especially along the NW arc. Many stones protrude above the peaty soil. Some quartz stones were noted at the S. One large stone (L 1.55m) lies E-W on the centre of the cairn.
