The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on level ground. Semi-circular raised area (54m N-S; 24m E-W) defined by gentle scarp (H 0.9m) N->S; roadway running N-S defines area to W. Interior surface slopes down gently towards centre. May be remains of one of the following: 'there were formerly two lioses, but these were levelled by a tenant named Field' (Power 1940, 98).
