The National Monuments Service's description
This monument was reportes to ASI by Alan Hawkes, UCC. He describes it as: 'in pasture, at bottom of valley/glen. Burnt material exposed in section of stream bank. South-facing section exposed to a maximum length of 7.5m with a thickness of 0.3m. North-facing section obscured by recent collapse but burnt material noted in section with an overall length of 10m and thickness of 0.4m.'
