The National Monuments Service's description
At N edge of graveyard (CO099-04001-), partially collapsed and overgrown remains of rectangular church (14m E-W; 6.3m N-S); walls stand to c. 1.5m high. Gaps in wall to E and S indicate positions of window and door opes. Cut-limestone block near middle of graveyard, acting as gravemarker, has chamfered edge, probably part of late medieval window surround. Parish church of Kilpatrick.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 2: East and South Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1994). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
