The National Monuments Service's description

On platform; N side of E-W ridge. Rectangular area (38.5m E-W; 30m N-S) defined to N and E by overgrown double banks (max. ext. H 2.9m; max. int. H 2.2m) and intervening ditch (D 0.6m); to W by double banks and ditches, waterlogged. Single bank and trace of ditch to S; partially levelled.Triangular-shaped platform within SW corner; NW corner stone-faced internally with concentration of stones on ground. Moated site (CO097-057---) to W.
