The National Monuments Service's description
In rectangular graveyard (CO097-041002-); indicated on 1842 OS 6-inch map as 'Ballyheedy R.C.Chapel'. Erected 1823 and according to local tradition built on site of earlier penal church (O'Sullivan 1990, 16). Rectangular nave (long axis N-S); pointed windows in E and W walls with wooden switch-line tracery. Porch entrance to N; sacristy to S; bellcote on N gable. Female and Male National School indicated on 1842 OS 6-inch map at S end of church no longer survives.
