On E side of laneway; roughly square graveyard (Wth c. 40m) enclosed by stone wall, not used since 1970 (O'Sullivan 1990, 16); inscribed headstones date from early 19th century. 1824 OS 6-inch map shows 'church' at N end; this was built in 1812 (Brady 1863, vol. 1, 345) on site of ancient parish church (CO097-039002-) of Templemichael de Duagh, which was in repair in 1639 (ibid, 343). Lewis (1837, vol. 2, 607) described the 19th-century church as 'a small handsome edifice, in the early English style'; it was demolished in 1884 (O'Sullivan 1990, 15); no visible surface trace. To S of graveyard 'Glebe house' (built 1814) and 'school house' are shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map; these have also been completely removed.
