The National Monuments Service's description
In tillage, atop hill, overlooking Ballyhandle Castle (CO097-009---). Shown on 1842 OS 6-inch map as circular enclosure (diam. c. 40m), bisected by E-W field fence; on 1902 OS 6-inch map as E->W semi-circular area abutted to N by same field fence. Levelled; stone concentration traces semicircular area; low rise to S indicates position of bank.
