The National Monuments Service's description

In a rath (CO096-108001-). According to local information there is a possible souterrain associated with this rath. It is remembered locally that the ground collapsed when the field was being ploughed with horses and a 'little tunnel' was revealed.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
