The National Monuments Service's description
In level pasture. Circular area (38m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (H 1m); external fosse (D 0.8m); possible counterscarp bank (H 0.2m). Gaps in bank to N and SSE. Souterrain (CO095-05602-) in interior. Earthen field fence encircles site SW->SE, varying between 19m distant to S and 39.8m distant to N.
