The National Monuments Service's description
This monument was reported to the Archaeological Survey of Ireland by Tony Miller on 4 September 2013. He describes it as follows:
"This site is just south of the R585 c. 1.5km east of the village of Coppeen. The main drain at the bottom of a field of improved pasture has been re-cut by a machine revealing a c. 20m long section of fulacht material c. 0.6m in depth."
