The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on S-facing slope. Oval area (41.2m E-W; 33m N-S) enclosed by earthen bank (max. H 2.8m) with external fosse (D 0.7m). Berm along outerface on E bank may be due to slippage. Upright stones visible in places along top of bank, protruding c. 0.1m-0.2m above surface, particularly on W side. Bank stone-faced internally on E side. Stone-faced entrance to SE. Interior slopes down towards entrance. Field boundary respects enclosure on N side.
