On bog on a terrace within relict field boundaries (CO091-010001-) on an E-facing hillslope overlooking the valley of the Barony River. A circular area (11m E-W; 10.6m N-S) is defined by the intermittent remains of a stone wall protruding from the bog. A larger stone (H 0.95m; 0.45m x 0.25m) at SE may indicate one side of the entrance. There is a hut site (CO091-010010-) c. 14m to the S.
The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
