The National Monuments Service's description

Coleman (1894, 35) recorded a 'collection of graves which, however, have never been disturbed' at the north-west point of Morlogue [Marloage] Wood. This is probably the same as the burial ground recorded by Power (123, 202) on the S slope of a hill called 'Cnocán na Croiche-Little Hill of the Gallows' near Marlogue Point and which comprised a number of stone-lined graves. The precise location of this burial ground is not known.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
