The National Monuments Service's description
In tillage, on a WSW-facing slope and c. 80m to the W of a standing stone (CO087-070----) which is in the same field. According to local information, there was a spread (diam. 10-20m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil here. There were no visible remains of this spread in 2004. Another possible burnt mound (CO087-124----) lies c. 100m to the SW of the standing stone.
