The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on S-facing slope of E-W ridge overlooking Owenboy river. Depicted on 1842 OS 6-inch map as hachured D-shaped enclosure. Arc (NW-NE) formed by earthen bank (H 0.85m) with external fosse. Possible second earthen bank (H 0.75m) immediately outside fosse; heavily overgrown and incorporated into field fence system.
