The National Monuments Service's description
In tillage, on a SE-facing slope. Indicated as an oval enclosure (diam. c. 35m) on the 1842 OS 6-inch map; hachured on the 1902 OS 6-inch map. Described as a 'Slightly oval shaped ringfort with low rampart (3ft)...evidence of habitation could be seen in churned up soil' during levelling in 1953 (UCC). This rath is not visible at ground level.
