C of I church, still in use, at E end. This is chapel-at-ease in St Finbarrs parish, built in 1838 (Anon 1898-1900) and known as 'Holy Trinity, Frankfield'. Rectangular nave with shallow chancel; vestry at E end of N wall. Elaborate bellcote atop W gable and detailing throughout of neo-Gothic character; closely resembels W porch at Rathcormack church (CO044-04902-) and Carrigaline church (CO087-03601-), probably designed by Pain brothers. Memorial inside church to Samuel Lane who "gave the ground for this church and church yard, and built the church 1838". Burials dating from late 19th and 20th century in churchyard. Frankfield school (now dwelling house) to W.
