The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture. Roughly square area (34.5m x 33.5m) enclosed by earthen bank (int. H 0.4m; ext. H 0.5m) with external fosse (D 1m). Fosse waterlogged. Entrance to E; according to Hartnett (1939, 256) breaks to W and S 'definitely recent'.
