The National Monuments Service's description
During test excavation an area of fire-reddened and cracked stone in a charcoal rich soil was in-covered at the base of a south-facing slope. Further investigation showed this fulacht fiadh measured c.10m E-W and c.6m N-S with a depth of c.0.15m. There was no surface indication of a mound meaning the site had been ploughed over in the past.
