The National Monuments Service's description

In rough grazing land, atop small natural rise. Roughly circular area (18m E-W; 16.5m N-S) defined by low earth and stone bank (int. H 1.1m; ext. H 1.3m). Field boundary crosses interior on E-W axis, off-centre to N. Break in bank to E (Wth 5m) and W (Wth 4.5m). Interior slopes down gently to W and is covered with rough grass, reeds and some furze bushes. Standing stone (CO094-020----) c. 40m to S in same field.
