The National Monuments Service's description
In rough grazing land, broken by rock outcrop, on break in NNE-facing slope. Circular raised area (44m E-W; 43m N-S) defined by earthen bank (H 3.4m); external fosse (D 1.2m); counterscarp bank (H 0.5m). Bank stone-faced internally in parts. Causewayed entrance (Wth 5m) to E. Bank and fosse overgrown with furze bushes and briars. Interior covered in ferns and briars; recumbent stone (1.1m x 0.5m x 0.3m) noted few metres from entrance.
