The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, in a hollow sheltered by rocky ridges to the N and S. A horseshoe-shaped mound (12m E-W; 11.5m N-S; H 0.9m) of heat-shattered stones and charcoal-enriched soil. The opening (Wth 2.5m) faces E towards an area covered with rushes. Two small boulders are embedded on the E end of the N arm of the mound. A small stream flows to the S. Another fulacht fia (CO081-051----) lies c. 20m to the W.
