The National Monuments Service's description
In blanket bog between two pieces of reclaimed bogland containing circular stone enclosure (CO080-022----) and standing stone (CO080-021----), to N and S, respectively. Collapsed stone wall (H 0.6m), exposed due to turf cutting, meanders in a general E-W direction and disappears into turf bank to W.
The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
