The National Monuments Service's description

On a rough boggy area, at the foot of a S-facing rocky slope in Derryclogher valley. Traces of mainly curvilinear stone field boundaries (T 0.6m; H 0.4m) protrude intermittently above the surface of the bog in a roughly rectangular area (c. 100m NE-SW; c. 40m NW-SE). There are two enclosures (CO079-004001-, CO079-004003-) within the network of field boundaries.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
