The National Monuments Service's description

Tall slim tower (H c. 12m; int. diam. 2.15m) in NE corner of walled garden of East Grove House. Embattled parapet wall supported on corbels. Slimmer tower on top (c. 2-3m H); embattled. Pointed door ope at ground floor on SE side; narrow pointed window opes. According to local information, used as lookout tower along river and for flag staff.
