In tillage, on S-facing slope. Shown on OS 6-inch maps as hachured semicircular area (c. 20m N-S) on W side of N-S road. Noted by Power (1923, 186) as '....lios, small and circular, with rampart 5ft high, bisected by a road'. Small portion of earthen bank (H 1.4m) survives to SW. Differential growth pattern indicates site to W of road; no surface trace to E.
