The National Monuments Service's description

A fulacht fia in wet marshy ground on the E bank of a stream was recorded here in 2000 (pers. comm. Marion A. Dowd). The ground level has since been raised in this area due to the dumping of earth and there were no visible remains of the fulacht fia. The stream has also been diverted.

The above description is derived from 'The Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 5' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 2009).
