The National Monuments Service's description
House abandoned and demolished in 1940s when sanatorium built nearby. Old photograph shows house to have been of 5-bays, 2-storey gable-ended with 1-bay, 2-storey projections on either and with hipped roof. Bence-Jones (1978, 213) dates house to early 18th century and extended in later Georgian period. Early 19th century entrance gateway (ibid.) with stone piers topped with urns and pineapples.
