In graveyard (CO074-01001-), remains of rectangular church (int. 13.5m E-W; 5.8m N-S); recently repaired. Walls stand to average H 1.5m - upper portions rebuilt, except for part of S wall which stands c. 3m H. Door ope W of centre in S wall, chamfered jambs survive at base. Window ope E of centre in S wall with lintelled and splayed embrasure; window ope also in centre of E wall with splayed embrasure, top rebuilt. Rebuilt niche near N end of E wall covered by chamfered circular head which may originally be head of window light. Piscina near E end of W wall set in rectangular wall press. Set in S wall near door, sandstone flag (0.4m x 0.15m; D 0.6m) with hollow circular depression (diam. 0.11m; D 0.03m) on upper surface. Low plinth on inside of W wall with head of double column (0.33m x 0.56m; H 0.3m) resting on it, possibly from late medieval cloister arcade. Inside E wall recently built stone altar; no burial markers in interior. Remains of Killina-Cannigh' (Bolster 1972, 82), impropriated to Gill Abbey, Cork( ibid, 264) and later part of St. Mary's parish, Shandon.
