In forestry plantation, overgrown and partially collapsed ruin of long low rectangular 2-storey house over basement. View front (E) of 10 bays. Extensions on either side to rear partially enclose courtyard; ruined 2-storey stone-built farm buildings form W range. Described by Bence-Jones (1978, 11) as 'Georgian house with long elevations ....seat of Colthurst....who vacated house in mid-19th century' when they moved to Blarney Castle Demesne (see CO062-238----). Reduced to pile of rubble c. 1988. Farmyard with ranges of 1- and 2-storey stone-built farm buildings c. 200m to SW, with 2-storey, 4-bay, gable-ended residential houses adjacent. Brick-lined walled garden c. 200m to S; now planted with coniferous trees.Two lodges survive, one to N has ornate windows. No standing remains of earlier house indicated on 1842 OS 6-inch map as 'Ardrum Ho. (in ruins)' c. 1km to WNW.
