The National Monuments Service's description

Roofless overgrown late 19th century corn mill; situated on W-facing slope adjacent to gravel quarry and overlooking Lee Valley Reservoir. Rectangular structure (12m SW-NE; 8.54m NW-SE), 3-bay, 3-storey with attic; gable-ended. Wheel pit along NW wall, enclosed by high walls, probably housed overshot waterwheel; low tail-race arch. Foundation stone for machinery within. Roofless 1-storey outbuilding added to NE. No trace of mill pond, sluice or aqueduct shown on 1904 OS 6-inch map to NE. Mill (CO072-111002-) to NE.
