The National Monuments Service's description
One of six ogham stones (also CO072-078003-, CO072-078004-, CO072-078006-, CO072-078007-, CO072-078008-) used in the construction of a souterrain (CO072-078002-). Discovered in 1910 and now on permanent display in the Stone Corridor, University College Cork (See CO074-139----). This stone (2.8m; 0.6m x 0.15m) was the second innermost lintel and had been broken in two so that the centre part of the inscription is missing. Both Power (1932, 19-20, nos. 16 & 17) and Macalister (1945, 114, no. 114) gave the inscription as GRIMIGGN[I MAQ]I CERC...; McManus (2004, 22, no. 26a/b) was only sure of GRi[ ]GGN... CERC... . (Power et al. 1997, no. 7971)
