The National Monuments Service's description

Two-phase 2-storey house; later phase built parallel and attached to earlier house: hipped roofs on both parts of house appear to be later again. S part has entrance front with central door flanked by sidelights, stone surround with pilasters supporting pediment. Two chimney stacks in valley between N and S parts. N part is slightly wider, with view front of 5 bays; central 3-bay shallow breakfront. Both phases of 18th century appearance. Restored 2-storey farm buildings to S, also gate lodge in neo-Tudor style. Tower (CO071-070---) in walled garden to SW.

The above description is derived from the published 'Archaeological Inventory of County Cork. Volume 3: Mid Cork' (Dublin: Stationery Office, 1997). In certain instances the entries have been revised and updated in the light of recent research.
