The National Monuments Service's description
On top of a rock outcrop, immediately S of avenue to Raleigh House (CO070-109----).Two-storey square embattled tower (int. 1.3m N-S) built within NW side of D-shaped platform (H c. 4.5m); fireplace in NE corner; upper floor and roof no longer survive. Platform, accessed by stairs in W wall, enclosed by parapet wall with low turret projecting from SW corner.
