The National Monuments Service's description

In pasture, on S-facing slope. 'Stone fort with 2 (?) ramparts' (int. diam. 110ft; ext. diam. 275ft) 'almost completely cleared away during May 1952' (UCC). In May 1986 circular area (42.6m N-S; 42.8m E-W) defined by low earthen bank visible to NE and SE; bank covered by field clearance material, of earth and stone, elsewhere. Surviving bank levelled in August/September 1990. Material from bank and surrounding surface dumped into interior to form new bank enclosing smaller area (22m N-S; 19m E-W). According to local information, originally "three rings". Possible souterrain (CO070-008002-) in interior.
