The National Monuments Service's description
In pasture, atop knoll, NW of Douglas River. Circular area (28m N-S; 27m E-W) defined by earthen bank (int. H 0.5m; ext. H 1.1m) to W; scarp, formed by rock outcrop elsewhere, topped by low rise to E, with internal stone facing surviving (H 0.7m) to E. Entrance (Wth 3.5m) to SSW. Interior slopes down to W; stone field boundary, running N-S, crosses enclosure off-centre to W. Quarrying in NW quadrant revealed possible souterrain (CO069-018002-).
